How did you first
hear about Al?: I have a couple
different stories, but I guess, I'll tell all of them!
What's the story behind that?:
I was about 7 years old and watching the Disney Channel, and
Al's "There's No Going Home" special was on, but I barely remember
it. I just remembered Al's name. The same year, my school had
a talent show, and two groups of people did parodies of "Amish
Paradise." I didn't know what Amish Paradise was, but a year
later, when my friend who at one time had "Bad Hair Day" came
over my house, she played a clip of Amish Paradise on the internet
for me. Also, Radio Disney was where I heard most of Al's songs.
I liked Al, but didn't see the humor in his songs until I was
13.
Have you been to
an Al concert?: Yes.
If so, how many?: 1
Concert Experience Story:
I attended my first Al concert on July 19, 2003, at the Mann
Music Center in Philadelphia, PA. It was very exciting for me
since I had been waiting for a long time to see Al in concert.
That night was also the first time I would meet Dave "Elvis"
Rossi (a well known fellow fan with the Al tattoos) in person
since he and I had only kept in touch by e-mail for 8 or 9 months
prior to the show. I met him, along with some other fellow fans
I recognized from his website. I also ran into my friend Nicole,
who I hadn't seen in over a year.
First, a comedian named Sudsy came out to warm up the crowd,
but he wasn't all that great. His jokes were crude, and all
about drugs and alcohol. After a long wait, Al came on and needless
to say, I knew this would be the best concert ever. I enjoyed
seeing "One More Minute", since Al came out into the audience
and handed two scarves and a pair of boxers to someone. I was
amazed by the level of energy shown by the audience. When the
concert came to a close, I met up with Dave and his friends
to try and find the buses, but I later found out that Al had
to leave to meet his wife and daughter in New York.
Have you ever met
Al?: Nope, but I'd give anything
to meet Al!
If so, do you have a story?:
If I did, I would!!
Have you ever met any of the band?:
Nope!
If so, who?: I want
to meet them soooooo bad!
Do you have a story?:
no
Have you ever tried
a Twinkie Weiner Sandwich?: nope,
and I don't plan on it
If so, what did you think?:
twinkie wiener sandwiches aren't kosher...lol
Do you collect Al
items?: yes
If so, what's your favorite/most
valuable item?: I don't know, but I do have a tape
of the most recent AL-TV.
Anything else
we should know about you?: I like to act in plays,
compose my own music, and play guitar.
