How did you first hear about Al?: Amazingly, at school!
What's the story behind that?: My teacher brought in acopy of "Alapalooza", and I listened to it whenever I had some free time, I eventually got hooked, so I brought in a blank tape and got a copy of it made!

Who'd of thought that it'd turn me into a HARDCORE Al fan?!?

Have you been to an Al concert?: Yup...
If so, how many?: 8
Concert Experience Story: One evening, my friends Donna & Vivian told me that they were taking me to our friend Steve Wiseman`s house. I was told that we were going to have a cookout, so, I was all for it. So we got into Donna`s car, and started on our way to Steve`s. (well, not really) As they got out of Kitchener/Waterloo, I knew that weren't going to Steve`s place, but just the same, I decided to stump them by asking Donna & Viv how Steve got into work each day. They then told me that Steve BIKES to work every day. So I then knew that they wern`t taking me to Steve`s house. The question was WHERE were they taking me?? We got into London Ontario, and then drove for about another 20 minutes to Centennial Hall. That`s when I saw it; the most beutiful sight I ever did see. A marquee saying that Weird Al would be there that night!!! I then paused for a moment, and yelled, "IT`S AL!". As we entered the concert hall, I was stunned; it wasn`t until I was able to buy a "Bad Hair Day" T-shirt that I snapped out of it. We went into the concert hall, sat down in our assigned seats, and waited for the show to begin. The opening act was a way-too-cheesy comedian, that went on for approximatly ten minutes... But when Al and his band finally come on stage, my jaw dropped, I was actually seeing my idol in person, and I was stunned. I sang along to every song except "Headline News", which I unfortunatly didn`t even know existed at the time. At the end of the concert, Donna surprised me yet again by handing me a backstage pass! But that didn't do me any good, because when I finally did meet Al, I was SPEECHLESS. Weird Al then autographed my backstage pass & "Bad Hair Day" T-Shirt!! I accomplished one of the things that I've always wanted to do; meet Weird Al.
