Al?: Yes...several times!
If so, do you have a story?:
After our first AL concert, we waited outside by the bus hoping
to get my daughters snorkel signed. We met everyone in the band
but AL...he was sick that night but gave a great concert anyways.
We understood but were still terribly disappointed. I just couldn't
stand the look of disappointment on my daughters face that never
seemed to go away. I finally decided to do something about it.
I wrote AL a letter explaining that we had waited to meet him
but understood that he was sick. I sent her snorkel along with
a disposable camera, asking that he sign the snorkel, snap a
few pix and return in the envelope provided. My daughter and
I knew that we were taking a chance and that we may never have
seen her snorkel again...but what the heck..you never know...right?
About a month later, a familiar envelope was in our mailbox.
Not only did AL sign the snorkel, He, himself, took 15 pix with
it on his tour bus. We were estactic! AL had proved to us, beyond
a doubt that he is truly a great guy!!!! P.S......We went to
another AL concert about a month later and actually ran into
him on the street. We just happened to have the snorkel pix
with us and he actually got to see that pix that HE had taken
with the snorkel. (He returned the camera undeveloped, of course)
We met him again after the concert, each time he was more gracious
and kind than before. He is truly a marvelous, talented and
funny person.

item?: Snorkel pix that AL took for us...and then
signed in person later. Also the pic of the us with AL.

we should know about you?: Al helped my daughter
and I learn an important lesson....Ya never know until you ask.
