Al's 13th Studio Album
Al's first album to have songs released
as they're recorded online at sites such as iTunes.
Al's first single from his 13th album (released on October
7, 2008) is "Whatever You Like," a parody
of T.I.'s "Whatever You Like." The song
marks a number of firsts for Al. It'll be the first time one
of Al's parodies was released while the original was still
number 1 in the country. Also, it'll be the first time Al
has released songs from an upcoming album as they're recorded
- via online retailers such as iTunes.
Due to a "glitch" in the iTunes system, Whatever
You Like, didn't get released with the other new songs
on October 7, 2008. Instead, it was released very late in
the night (or early October 8th, depending in which part of
the country you live) to the dismay of many fans.
